truth!

If you were to say you could write me a fictional story that included dog cloning, beauty queens, skipping bail, a mormon sex scandal, and criminals posing as Irish deaf mute actors, I would have said, “Pshaw!”  But there is such a story.  And it is true.

You write that book and I’ll buy it for our collection! True crime rules1

But she can’t be all strange if she’s a dog lover….

This is my favorite story in a long time. I’ve been getting a kick out of it all week.

My favorite quote is:
“I loved him so much,” she told a judge, “that I would ski naked down Mount Everest in the nude with a carnation up my nose if he asked me to.”

Also, is the term ‘deaf mute’ ok’d in the AP Style Book?

No! There’s an entry for it totally prohibiting it. Oddly in British stories it says mimes, so maybe when referring to mimes and not actual deaf people (as the stylebook refers to) is okay? Why not say mime?
