Creep Vibe
I have something I call the “Creep Vibe.” It’s a completely irrational gut feeling I get off of people (well, honestly, men) when I meet them. These people are usually introduced as cool friends of friends, but no matter what, I just get a bad feeling from them. It’s super awkward, especially since some of them I have to hang out with in a social or professional situation. I would say I get the creep vibe once or twice a year. None of the creeps have ever ended up doing anything to me personally (mainly because I would do my best to avoid them), but yet I still trust this instinct. Yet I feel like an ass when describing why I don’t like them. Does this happen to other people? Has your creep vibe been confirmed? I can think of five of them off the top of my head immediately. Usually it’s an extreme feeling, not, “Oh I really don’t care for that person.” but “I think that person is not a good person and will do something bad.” Also it has nothing to do with what we talk about, what they are interested in, etc. It’s just immediate.

Yes and yes. I’ve had my creep factor confirmed AT LEAST 5 times.
And one of them was a friend of yours. DUN DUNN DUNNNNNNN!
(oh, you know who i mean. the one i offered to beat into a bloody pulp, when all was said & done with.)
But I get “secretly lame!” vibe much more often than I get creep vibe.

I agree too. I also get a female-equivalent vibe of “evil factor”. You know - those women who look you in the eye and you know they’d gut you.

I get the creep vibe and the one Sonya mentions, but more often than the creep vibe I get the “don’t trust this person” vibe… they might not be creepy, just shady.
Have I had any confirmed… I’ve definitely had “don’t trust” confirmed on a few occasions. My favorite - but most infrequent - gut feeling is the “this geek is secretly sexy” vibe. And yes, that has been confirmed.

Yes I agree there is that feeling you get about women that is like, “uh oh, you’re bad news.” I don’t get that as often and I guess I feel it’s usually based more on attitude than first impression.
I guess Creep Vibe is “I don’t trust you.” But it’s based on the feeling a person gives you even before talking to you.

Yes, totally. Like, looking in them in the eye will make me completely blush in FEAR or something, it’s instant, and it can’t really be explained. But truly uncomfortable. And I am not a blusher.
