redheaded woman
Best use of science I have seen lately. All studies that confirm Bruce Springsteen lyrics are awesome.
Jenn and Lisa have been officially called out for commentary.

But the article says nothing about strawberry-blondes! Dammit, I’m always right in the middle…
And I refuse to give further commentary without involving Richard.

I think my redheaded mother would wholeheartedly agree with this story.
And as a natural blonde, I would like to state that I NEVER have more fun.
What’s up with the Daily Mail commenter who asks, “Women very frequently dye their hair blonde but do they ever dye it red?” Is this just the UK hatred of gingers or what? It seems like half young woman in America started dyeing their hair red in the late 90s. I only know this because my mother bitches about it constantly.

what i don’t get is why natural redheads, more than any hair color FREAK THE FUCK OUT when people dye their hair that color. I mean no one’s like “OH what A BITCH! She doesn’t really have BROWN HAIR! What a liar!” Like, what’s up with that?

I think natural redheads resent faux redheads for skipping all the horrors of being a redheaded child (intense teasing, burning, freckling, not being able to go swimming until 8 p.m.) and going straight to the sexy glory.

Very true. I have yet to meet another human being paler than myself. This includes people with albinism.

By the way, re my FB comment … I must’ve missed somewhere that you had dyed your hair. I was talking about signing up in general.
Not trying to recap our early days.
And speaking as a guy–non-standard as I might be–resentment certainly isn’t the feeling one has, but suspicion certainly looms large.
And Jenn. As much as I love her, she is not a redhead.
