Rain day!
It’s like a snow day! There are tornadoes in Brooklyn! And it’s going to be over 100 degrees later today! The city (and my employer) are officially telling me to stay home! I think the end IS near. Here’s the official transit report:

Ah, yes. That is always so much fun. Usually it happens in September, at the end of hurricane season. I remember several occasions when I was dumped out around the World Trade Center and had to walk all the way uptown through the flooded streets (I’m sure cabs were making $100 a pop or more).
