pet correlation

I have a rule of thumb: vegans always have cats.  Okay, sometimes they have dogs, but they are always using an animal for pleasure, which I find ironic.

In looking for a hotel room for my family, I have found a new rule: All b&bs have pets.  I guess B&Bs think it’s homey, but basically it means I won’t stay there.  Thanks guys!

I was going to correct you and say PETA is anti-pet, but looking at their website I see they are in fact opposed only to breeding/selling animals, not keeping them. So I guess your rule is true!

yes, clearly it is the capitalist transaction that makes all things evil! 🙂

Yeah, that’s very weird! I have a vegan friend who has two dogs, who are also vegan (I believe). I think he’s the exception to the rule.

My sister is vegan and she does not have a cat. Or a dog. She does have a turtle, but it was a gift from a friend. Actually, she gets no pleasure out of the turtle. It has become my mom’s pet. In fact, when my mom thought the turtle was sick she actually slept on the couch in teh living room by the turtle tank to keep an eye on it.

    1. she still has a pet
    and
    2. I don’t think you can count people who still live with their parents–it’s not really their decision.
